COVID-19 Response

THIS+ONE

The Children’s Advocacy Center is taking the threat of the COVID-19 seriously and we are implementing the Recommendations for COVID-19 Community Mitigation Strategies.

The CAC recognizes that community mitigation strategies are crucial to slowing the transmission of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Michigan, particularly before a vaccine or treatment becomes available. These strategies provide essential protections to individuals at risk of severe illness and to health care and other critical infrastructure workforce. Preventing a sudden, sharp increase in the number of people infected with COVID-19 will help minimize disruptions to daily life and limit the demand on health care providers and facilities.

Because of these precautions we have implemented a Response Plan that continues to provide essential services to kids & families. We are however limiting the number of staff on site and closing the facility to the general public. Also, in Lieu of the COVID-19 we have made the decision to cancel both of our spring events, Advocates in Action Luncheon, May 19th & The Child Abuse Benefit Golf Outing, June 1st.

Thank you for your patience and understanding and please be careful, kind and check on your family, friends and neighbors.
