Alexa Redick

Development Director

Coming to us from Greater Ottawa County United Way’s Development Team, and as a Grand Haven native, Alexa is very familiar with the needs, culture, and generosity of West Michigan. Alexa graduated with a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies in Social Science from Michigan State University with high honors in 2015. In 2018, she graduated summa cum laude from DePaul University with an M.A. in Women’s and Gender Studies, specializing in Multicultural Communication. Alexa also earned a certification as a Major Gifts Scholar from the Veritus Major Gifts Academy in 2019. She is on her way to becoming a Certified Fund Raising Executive – an internationally recognized certification for fundraisers. Alexa is particularly passionate about community involvement. She was appointed to the Grand Haven Human Relations Commission in 2019, she is a Holland/Zeeland Young Professionals board member, a Grand Haven Young Professionals committee member, a Mosaic Counseling board member, and on the Grand Haven Hispanic Heritage Fiesta steering committee. Alexa also enjoys bringing awareness to social and racial inequalities, learning new things, and having in-depth conversations with those that think differently from herself.
