I am thrilled to be working with everyone at the CAC! Since graduating with my masters from Grand Valley State University I’ve spent eight years serving the community as a Social Worker and Therapist. Specializing in trauma has given me the knowledge to understand the importance of focusing on a process that is built on therapeutic relationship, and a client centered strength based supportive approach. Having training in TF-CBT allows me to serve clients in a unique way. Starting my career at the CAC as an intern in my undergraduate program at Colorado Christina University, has given me a heart for working with children and families through some of the hardest times of their lives. I take great pride in this. All the people I have worked with and met through the CAC are some of the most hardworking and dedicated. They have the most grit out of anyone I know. When I am not at the CAC, I work for my own private counseling practice serving clients in the west Michigan area. I am blessed with two little girls, a big goldendoodle and a wonderful husband who helps keep everything together as I follow my dreams. We love going up north, swimming in the lake, splashing in the pool, cooking and listening to live music.
