Intervention Services

Forensic Interviews

Forensic Interviews are provided to children, teenagers and vulnerable adults who may have been victims of sexual abuse, severe physical abuse, or who may have been witness to a violent crime. These interviews are designed to gather the facts from a child in a manner that is developmentally appropriate, safe, and comfortable for the child and family.

Medical Exams

We offer a medical evaluation to any child who has allegations or concerns of abuse. These evaluations are designed to be child-friendly and offered on-site at zero cost to the family. Performed by specially trained pediatricians from Corewell Health, the main purpose of the evaluation is to reassure the child and family their body is okay following a disclosure of abuse.

Family Advocacy

We understand that navigating life after reporting abuse can be incredibly stressful and overwhelming. Our advocates are available to lend support to families during this difficult time and address the inevitable physical and emotional needs that arise.

Problematic Sexual Behavior Screening

We are here to help you navigate questions and concerns around any sexualized behaviors your child is displaying. There are a variety of reasons these behaviors may be exhibited and we are available to help you and your child gain insight into the source through our Problematic Sexual Behavior Screenings.

Counseling

We are committed to providing a safe place to begin the healing process after experiencing abuse. Our team of therapists provides trauma-informed therapy to children of every age and the family as a whole.
