Your First Visit
SCHEDULING
Forensic Interview: Law Enforcement and/or Children’s Protective Services will schedule the interview with the Children’s Advocacy Center and notify you of the appointment date and time. We have a text reminder system that will remind you of your appointment date and time.
Problematic Sexual Behavior Screening (PSB) or Counseling: CAC staff will schedule your appointment. You will be notified through our text reminder system. You can modify your appointment through the text reminder system or call us at 616-393-6123.
GETTING HERE
We are located at 12125 Union St, Holland, MI off of 120th Ave. between James and Felch. We are at the end of a cul-de-sac. You will pass by an eye care center and an animal hospital. You may park outside the front of the building or on the side.
If you are arriving by Max bus, we are off of Route 4 Waverly/ 120th. The bus stop nearest to our center is 120th S. of Felch (Animal Hospital).
INTAKE PAPERWORK AND TRANSLATION
You will be greeted by a CAC team member and given intake forms to complete. We have language services available (in person Spanish and multiple languages virtually).
What to Expect at a Forensic Interview
The Forensic Interview is often a child and family’s first experience with the Children’s Advocacy Center. We understand you may have lots of questions and concerns in advance of your appointment.
