When you choose to donate to the CAC, you are choosing to invest in our community’s future. Your donation allows for our clients to receive critical support and intervention early on, which will lessen the lifelong impact of abuse. It is only with the support of our community that we are able to offer our services free of charge, ensuring that all children and families have access to healing. 

Encircle the Center

Would you consider encircling the CAC with recurring giving? Your monthly gifts add up significantly over the year and allow us to provide our critical abuse prevention and intervention services free of charge to the community. Thank you for joining our circle!

Other Ways to Give

IN-KIND GIFTS

In-kind gifts of goods or services help to reduce costs for the Center, as well as provide needed supplies to children and families in crisis. You can donate independently, purchase items through our Amazon wishlist, or coordinate a drive for Cora’s Care Closet!

EVENT SPONSORSHIP

Consider sponsoring one of our fundraising events! Not only will your sponsorship support child sexual abuse prevention and intervention, but it also comes with various forms of recognition including print materials, social media, and event signage. 

GUARDIAN ANGEL SOCIETY

Our Guardian Angel Society recognizes individuals and families who have notified us that they have included the Children's Advocacy Center in their will or another deferred giving plan. Here’s how to join the Guardian Angel Society:


1. Arrange for your estate to leave a gift to the CAC. Common Ways to do this are:

  • As a beneficiary of your Will or Trust

  • As a beneficiary of an IRA, annuity, or 401k/403B Retirement Plan

  • As a beneficiary or owner of a Life Insurance Policy

  • As a beneficiary of a Charitable Gift Annuity, Charitable Remainder Trust, or other Planned Gift


2. Notify us that you have made the necessary arrangements by completing and mailing the Guardian Angel Society form to The Children’s Advocacy Center. This will give us permission to use your name in future listings of Guardian Angel Society members.

Donation FAQs

  • In order to protect your data, the CAC uses a separate online giving portal where credit card information is stored. To update your card call our Donor Services team at (616) 393-6123.

  • Our EIN/tax ID number is 38-3445089.

  • All donors will receive a receipt that meets the needs of the IRS within the month following their gift. If you gave a gift online and provided an email address, an emailed acknowledgment will be sent.
