Cara Mazure
Prevention Trainer
Cara Mazure is a social worker passionate about collaborating with community members to work on shared goals of preventing harm and eliminating stigma around complex issues. She has a master’s degree in social work from the University of Michigan, along with a bachelor’s degree in social work from Saginaw Valley State University. Cara has many years of experience working directly with children and families, and partnering with a variety of community organizations to bring crucial prevention education to all people. Cara loves facilitating trainings with both children and adults in all sectors of the community, both virtually and in person, focused on preventing, recognizing, and responding to child sexual abuse. When not working, Cara enjoys exploring local parks with her family, reading, and eating yummy food.
