Community Education Specialist

Dalila Flores Winkler is a dedicated Community Education Specialist with five years of experience as an educator, including one year in the Chicago area and four years in the Wyoming, Michigan area. A fluent Spanish speaker, Dalila is passionate about building strong connections with families and creating inclusive, welcoming educational experiences for diverse communities.

New to her role at the Children’s Advocacy Center, Dalila brings her deep commitment to education, attention to detail, and a strong desire to make learning accessible and engaging for all students. Her vision is to leverage her skills as an educator to strengthen curriculum, ensuring that the information is presented to children in a way that feels inviting and comforting. By focusing on fostering positive, supportive learning environments, Dalila strives to inspire a love for learning and encourage the success of every child.

Outside of work, Dalila enjoys staying active through exercise, spending quality time with her family, and caring for her dog. She is excited to continue her journey in community education and contribute to the company’s mission of caring for children and families impacted by sexual abuse.
