Rachael DeWitt, LMSW, MPA
Executive Director, Therapist
Rachael DeWitt is incredibly honored to be serving as the Executive Director of the Ed and Nancy Hanenburg Children’s Advocacy Center. Prior to stepping into this role, she has been connected to the CAC for several years - as an intern, staff member, volunteer, and donor. She is super excited and humbled to now add Executive Director to the list. Rachael attended Hope College and received Bachelors degrees in Spanish, Political Science, and International Studies. She went to graduate school at Grand Valley State University where she earned her Masters of Social Work and Masters of Public Administration.
She has been practicing as a therapist since 2010 primarily with children and adolescents. Recently she expanded her scope of practice to include counseling for perinatal mental health. She loves incorporating a variety of techniques and modalities into her treatment approach. While her focus up until now has been primarily clinical, she is eager to step into this leadership opportunity and welcomes the challenge. Outside of work, Rachael enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters.
